On this excursion, you will visit <\/mark>THE NATIONAL AVIARY<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>, where you can enjoy some of the most beautiful natural places and a great variety of birds in their natural habitat. After this visit, we will go to WHITE BEACH<\/strong>, where you can enjoy the sun, the fresh breeze and the crystal clear waters of this area of Bar\u00fa<\/strong>. You can also enjoy lunch.<\/mark><\/p>

Just 50 minutes from Cartagena<\/strong>, at kilometer 14.5 of the Bar\u00fa Island,<\/strong> you will find this paradise of biodiversity, an unmissable destination that introduces its visitors to a place with thick vegetation, waterfalls, streams, varz\u00e9as and marshy areas; an unthinkable area in full Colombian Caribbean.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>

Ecotourism hand in hand with education and research<\/mark><\/h3>

The National Aviary of Colombia<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> is not only the new tourist alternative for residents and visitors of the Atlantic Coast, but also seeks to promote knowledge of the diversity of Colombian birds<\/strong>, its sustainable use and responsible management.<\/mark><\/p>

Is the perfect place for ecotourism, but also a research center that seeks not only to conserve birds, but also to reproduce them. There are currently three breeding programs for threatened or endangered birds: Blue-billed Curassow (Crax Alberti), an endemic species of Colombia<\/strong>; Andean Condor <\/strong>(Vultur gryphus), emblematic bird of the country; and Harpy eagle<\/strong> (Harpia harpyja), the most powerful bird of prey in the world.<\/mark><\/p>

The birds that inhabit the <\/mark>Aviary<\/a><\/strong> <\/mark>they come from, among others, the Regional Autonomous Corporations of the country, who, due to the illegal trafficking of wildlife, have them; others come from the exchange between zoological institutions and many others from their reproduction 'in situ'.<\/mark><\/p>

At\u00a0<\/mark>National Aviary of Colombia<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> we have 170 species of birds and about 1700 specimens. The route made in the <\/mark>Aviary<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> <\/mark>is unidirectional and lasts approximately two hours, some of them are endangered species, it is such a good opportunity to observe a unique and wonderful collection of birds of Colombia <\/strong>and Latin America.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>

During the tour you will find three ecosystems:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>
